Usage of Fibrimex^® in the EU requires a country by country approval.

There is not yet an approval of Fibrimex^® for all EU countries.

Fibrimex^® Plasmapowder FG on the other hand can be labelled similar as other plasma proteins in the EU.

Sonac recommends its customers to label meat (products) that have been processed Fibrimex or Plasma powder FG as following:

‘Combined meat parts’.

The ingredient as such is recommended to be labelled as: beef or pork

protein.
